Lasery Fibrowe

> How often should the coolant be changed?

The coolant should be changed every 3 months. After 3 months of operation, we will not notice that it changes its color or it is significantly depleted in the cooling system, but the biggest problem is the microorganisms that develop in the system.

> How to lubricate the guides in fiber lasers?

There is a whole range of greases and oils suitable for linear guides used in FIBER LASERS . It is best to use the same oil that was used by the manufacturer, this especially applies to fiber plotters with an automatic lubrication system. Usually it is oil with a viscosity of 68 with additional ingredients reducing dirt and also eliminating the "ANTI STICK SLIP" sticking effect.

the most commonly used lubricants:

BEACON EP1, Fa. ESSO
Microlube GB0, (KP 0 N-20), Staburags NBU8EP, Isoflex Spezial, Fa. KLÜBER
Optimol Longtime PD0, PD1 or PD2 depending on the application temperature, Fa. OPTIMOL
Receipt EP1, (KP 1 N-30), Fa. DEA
Multifak EP1, Fa. TEXACO

> What kind of coolant to use for a fiber laser?

Use demineralized or distilled water, admixtures of liquids lowering the freezing point of water are allowed, as long as they are not corrosive.

> Does the fiber plotter cut 2 times more power twice as fast?

The cutting speed depends largely on the complexity of the project, the number of small details, the type of metal and the thickness of the cut sheet metal, the last least significant element, although the power of the laser source is also very important.

> Can you engrave on a fiber plotter?

You can engrave on fiber plotters, but only vector graphics. However, for industrial use as a marking machine for cut-out elements, it will be perfect.

> How long does it take to learn to use a laser?

If you know how to use graphic design software like Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD / CAM, you can be up and running in a few hours! You can learn by yourself from the materials available on the Internet, and you can also buy training in the use of the device and software. If you choose to self-study, it will not be without trial and error to find the optimal parameters / settings for speed and power to be used with the various materials on which you will operate. We invite you to familiarize yourself with the "Knowledge Base" section on our website, where you will find a lot of useful information.

> What's the difference between a fiber plotter and a co2 plotter?

The co2 plotter is used for cutting in non-metallic materials and steel - it does not cut non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper, brass, silver, gold. The fiber plotter is used for cutting only in metals, including non-ferrous metals, additionally it is characterized by much greater precision and a co2 plotter.
