There is a planty of lubricants and oils suitable for linear guides used in laser plotters. However, it is best to use the same oil that was used by the manufacturer. It is usually an oil with a viscosity of 68 with additional components to reduce dirt and also to eliminate the effect of sticking the "ANTI STICK SLIP" splint.
