Product description

The Weni Solution WS-EWL single-module laser welder is an advanced device for quickly and conveniently making strong welds between two metal surfaces. The simple design of the device is based on a laser generator beam and an efficient cooling system. The welder features a small number of consumable parts and easy maintenance. The device is equipped with a Raycus or IPG Photonics fiber source. The highest precision of the welding process is enabled by the proprietary BWT15 laser head. Meanwhile, the HANLI cooling system and Schneider and Omron electrics are responsible for the stability of the entire process. The device is equipped with high-quality temperature controllers, a control system and advanced software.

Manufacturing plants rely on comprehensive solutions to streamline and facilitate work. The WS-EWL series laser welder distinguishes itself from competing welding methods. Both stainless steel (acid-resistant), carbon steel, as well as aluminum or brass can be welded without significantly changing the configuration of the device. In addition, with the ability to adjust the shape of the beam from the touch panel, the welder can easily select and change the appearance and properties of the weld in real time. Device It also has a torch mode, which, with thin materials, allows you to cut a sheet of metal and, thanks to the head with 360-degree movement, make any shape you want.

The device allows you to weld materials by delivering a much lower temperature to the material, so you can reduce the stress and deformation of the material, making the welder ideal for welding thin materials. The properties of the laser welder allow the joining of two different metals, which is virtually impossible with traditional welding methods.

The device does not require the use of electrodes, and thanks to the small laser beam, it is possible to weld with minimal spacing. By controlling the laser power, beam width, frequency and other parameters, the workpiece is melted, creating a perfect quality weld, which is confirmed by the conducted tests and the institute's certificate Welding Quality Control.

Laser welding is a welding method that uses a focused laser beam as an energy source. Due to its optical properties, such as refraction and focusing, laser welding will work well for very thin parts and metals not suitable for welding. Operating and welding with a laser is much easier, and operator training requires less time and cost compared to other welding methods.

Device configuration

The power of the laser generator affects the speed of melting and the speed of weld formation. By generating more energy faster, the higher-powered source makes it much easier to work with difficult metals. The higher power allows welding thicker materials by creating more extensive and stronger welds. It is recommended to use more power for the thickness of >4mm.

To cut high-reflectivity materials such as copper, brass, gold, and silver, we recommend choosing an IPG laser generator. In the case of MAX PHOTONICS and RAYCUS, there is a high risk of generator failure/damage.

Lightweight and handy BWT15 head

The head installed in the WS-EWL series laser welder is part of an advanced water-cooled kit. Several different types of laser welder nozzles are available, which affect the precision and better access to the gap between materials and help achieve the right shape of the weld. Replacing the nozzle is simple, fast and intuitive. A movable auto-controlled lens gives you the ability to correct material imperfections.

The Wobble function gives us faster speed and better quality laser welding. A handgun with a moving lens controlled automatically gives you the opportunity to correct imperfections in the material. Variable spot type allows better selection of weld (up to 5mm wide) depending on the need and type of welding: internal and external angles, flat or round welding.

It is necessary to choose the right nozzle shape for a particular type of weld, such as external or internal, and for the thickness of the material to be welded. Moreover, by using a special cutting tip, the device can be used for straight cutting. The fiber optic cable to the head is 10 m long.

 

Automatic wire feeder

Weni Solution feeders are designed to combine easy operation and control of the machine along with excellent wire feeding. The use of the feeder is useful especially with thicker materials, as the wire fills the gap between the materials to be joined.The width of the wire handled is within the range: 0.8 mm - 1.6 mm. The roll that can be used should be max. 5-7 kg in weight. The feeder also has casters for greater mobility.

The feeder has features such as:

- Push-Pull functions, which feeds the wire and guides the welder's hand at the same time
- Possibility of manual wire tensioning (useful when putting on a new roll)
- Rollback function (reversing the wire and winding it on the spool)
- Other functions, such as wire feed speed and Delay time
