Product description

Fully compatible with Weni Solution brand lasers, the nitrogen generator is a device that produces pure nitrogen (N2) through a process called nitriding. It is an important device in many industries, such as food, medicine, chemistry and electronics. The easy-to-maintain design and long-life components ensure trouble-free operation. The small and modular parts of the entire generator allow the use of a minimum amount of space on the production floor. For customers who do not have space on their hall, we have provided a version of the device in a metal container, ready to connect the power supply and generate nitrogen on your own!

The nitrogen generator produces pure nitrogen with a high degree of purity, making it ideal for a wide range of applications such as laboratories, food industry, food processing, electronics manufacturing, etc. The WS-NG-600 generator eliminates the need to buy nitrogen in cylinders or liquid tanks. This allows independence from external suppliers and saves costs associated with the purchase, transportation and storage of cylinders.

This device is capable of supplying nitrogen continuously and on demand. There is no need to wait for cylinders to be delivered or worry about emptying them at the wrong time.Using a nitrogen generator also eliminates the risks associated with handling and storing large nitrogen cylinders or tanks. There is no risk of leakage or uncontrolled release of nitrogen into the environment.

In the long run, nitrogen generators are a cheaper solution than regular purchases of nitrogen cylinders. Despite the initial cost of purchasing and installing the generator, operating costs are significantly lower. The device is relatively easy to install and operate. What is the process of nitrogen production?

Principle of PSA Nitrogen Production
The nitrogen generator uses the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) method, where the main adsorbent is a carbon molecular sieve. The process involves adsorbing oxygen and other gases from the air under pressure and desorbing them at atmospheric pressure, allowing for nitrogen separation. The carbon molecular sieve has a microporous structure that facilitates the kinetic separation of gases due to differences in the kinetic diameters of the molecules.
Basic PSA Nitrogen Production Process
Nitrogen, being the most abundant gas in the air, is readily available. It is colorless, odorless, and transparent. High-purity nitrogen is often used as a protective gas where oxygen or air is isolated.
  • Nitrogen Content: 78.084% in air (volume components of air: N2: 78.084%, O2: 20.9476%, Argon: 0.9364%, CO2: 0.0314%, and others such as H2, CH4, N2O, O3, SO2, NO2, etc.)

Air Compression: Compressed air is pre-cleaned of dust, oil, and moisture before entering the air tank.Adsorption: The air enters adsorption tower A, where pressure increases, and oxygen molecules are adsorbed by the carbon molecular sieve. Nitrogen passes through the adsorption bed and is directed to the nitrogen buffer tank.Pressure Equalization: After the adsorption process in tower A, adsorption towers A and B are connected to equalize the pressure.Desorption: Compressed air enters tower B, where the oxygen adsorption and nitrogen desorption processes are repeated. During this time, the oxygen adsorbed in tower A is released into the atmosphere.Backflushing: Nitrogen is used to flush the desorption tower to completely remove the oxygen.

  • Air Compressor: A screw or piston compressor provides compressed air. Piston compressors can be oil-free or oil-lubricated.

Pre-Treatment Equipment: Multi-stage filters remove mechanical contaminants, moisture, oil, and odors from the air before it enters the nitrogen generator.

Equipment Installation: All equipment for the nitrogen production system should be installed on a flat, clean floor. For larger units, foundations may be required. It is crucial that the air compressor and dryer are placed in a well-ventilated area.Operating Conditions: The recommended ambient temperature is ≤40°C, and relative humidity should be ≤65%. Raw air should not contain mechanical contaminants exceeding 20 mg/m³.With the use of PSA technology, the nitrogen generator can produce high-purity nitrogen continuously, efficiently, and economically.
